Install Flex Posts
Go to plugins, search for Flex Posts, install, and activate it.
After activation, if you go to Appearance > Widgets, you will see the new tab.
Now you can add it to any widget on your website – sidebar or footer.
Customize Flex Posts
Click on it and choose where you want to display your articles. Next, you can change the different display options.
On the General tab, you can choose titles and layouts. It has 4 different layouts. Choose which is suitable for you.
On the Filter tab, you can choose between Pages and Posts, choose which category & order you want to display them. Also, how many articles to display on your sidebar.
And on the Display tab, you have different options to choose from: show categories, author, date, excerpt, etc. Lots of stuff.
