Flex Posts: Best Post Widget For Gutenberg

Having related or popular posts in the sidebar is a great way to increase CTR and also it is great for bounce rate.

This plugin is very customizable, easy to use, and very lightweight. Let me show how great this plugin is and how it works.

Install Flex Posts

Go to plugins, search for Flex Posts, install, and activate it.

After activation, if you go to Appearance > Widgets, you will see the new tab.

Now you can add it to any widget on your website – sidebar or footer.

Customize Flex Posts

Click on it and choose where you want to display your articles. Next, you can change the different display options.

On the General tab, you can choose titles and layouts. It has 4 different layouts. Choose which is suitable for you.

On the Filter tab, you can choose between Pages and Posts, choose which category & order you want to display them. Also, how many articles to display on your sidebar.

And on the Display tab, you have different options to choose from: show categories, author, date, excerpt, etc. Lots of stuff.

You can customize it how you want and you will have beautifully displayed posts on your sidebar.

Also, if you use Gutenberg as your page builder, you can use Flex Posts on pages too and display your blog categories. This is a very powerful plugin.
