Every day millions of people read thousands of blog posts. They are searching for solutions, tips, tutorials, and so on. Blogging is still very popular.
They may find hundreds of blog posts about the specific topic but are all blog posts good quality? Do they find the answer they were looking for? Of course, not.
If you search for something in Google, it shows you different blog posts about that topic from different websites.

The best blog posts are on Google’s first page.
It means that people love them, have many views, and are optimized for search engines (SEO). Google loves websites with good SEO.
But what are good blog posts, and how do write them? Well, it is not that hard, but you need to know some things to create engaging blog posts.
And these two things are Content and Structure.
Let’s dive in deep and let me share my knowledge and experience.
Table of Contents
Content Is The King
Perhaps content is the most important aspect. Because if your content sucks, people won’t share your blog posts, won’t come back to your website, and Google will not rank it high.
So if you don’t have good content, then it doesn’t matter how well-structured or how well-optimized your blog posts are.
And it doesn’t matter what kind of post you’re writing. It could be a tutorial, list post, reviews, etc.
Text Content
Your post must have some value. You may write a post with 3000 words, but if it doesn’t have value, it won’t work.
Let’s say you want to write a list post about WordPress SEO plugins.
You can’t just make the top 10 list and be happy with it. You need to do more. You need to have a structure.
The best way to start is to write about 4 to 6 paragraphs about SEO, WordPress, and what is an SEO plugin.
After that, you can start your listing but don’t make just a list.
Write 1 or 2 paragraphs about the plugin itself. Also, you can write the pros and cons of that plugin.
And at the end of every blog post, write a conclusion.
It applies to every kind of blog post.
If you write a product review, first make an introduction, information about the product, and then start a review. Talk about the pros and cons and write a conclusion at the end.
Image Content
But remember that your blog posts can’t be only text. It needs photos and videos. Your blog also must be beautiful.
Use high-quality images or graphics. Also, it is a great idea to make a short video about the topic or include a video from Youtube.
Also, you can make infographics. It is good practice to have visuals on your blog posts.
It would be more professional, and people will love it, and they share it on social media. It will bring more traffic to your website.
Also, when visitors like your post, they tend to share it, will read other blog posts, and also might subscribe to your blog.
So, your content must give full information and solution to readers, must be filled with beautiful images, and it would be great if you include a video.
After you write your post, it is time to make it well-structured.
Blog Needs a Good Structure
The structure of your blog posts is very important. It is like a plan. If you don’t have a good business plan, then it will fail.
Same with blog posts. If it is not well-structured, people won’t read it.
Remember that people first see your post and then read it. So, if it has a bad structure, then they will not read it.
What do I mean by structure? It means that you must split your post into sections.
And the sections are Headline, Intro, Main Content, and Conclusion.
It is a good idea to split your main content into sections too.
This way, your post will look more eye-appealing.
Now, let’s review each section.
Create Good Headlines
Perhaps the headline is the most important because the first thing people see it on Google is a headline.
So it must say what your post is about and also must be eye-catching. It must make people click it. But it does not mean that the headline should be clickbait. NO WAY.
What makes a good headline?
Imagine a person who dresses well, looks after himself, behaves nicely, and is polite. Everyone will like him.
But if a person does not look after himself and does not behave well, no one will like him.
Headlines are like that.
For example, you want to know how to make money online. You search and find two posts.
How To Make Money Online and 7 Ways To Make Money Online: Passive Income Guide.
Which one would you click? Of course, the second one. Why?
Because it is well-written and teaches different ways to make money.
And that is the reason why you want to have eye-catching headlines.
Based on the headline, people would guess that this is a good post. Full of information.
But never lie to your readers. The headline must exactly say what your post is about, and of course, the content itself must be good-quality and informative.
Write Engaging Intro
The first thing in the post must be the intro. Here you will write a short introduction about the product you are reviewing, what are you going to discuss, what you will teach, and so on.
But it should not be too long. You can write 2 to 3 paragraphs, but it depends on the post type.
Reviews, tutorials, and list posts do not need to have a long intro, but if you are talking about a big or important subject, then you can write a bigger one.
And the intro must be very informative. When a person will read it he must have a desire to continue reading.
If the intro is written badly, then the reader won’t continue reading and will try to find another post. You do not want that to happen.
Also, it is a good idea to have a table of content in the intro. It looks more professional and it is easier to navigate.
Maybe a person needs to read a specific topic on that subject. So instead of reading the whole post he will go to that specific section and read the information he’s interested in.
You can include one image or a video in the intro but don’t overload it. Text-based intros are better. But it is not necessary.
Full Main Content
A very, very important section of your post. It is the core of blog posts. Your main content must be well-written and full of quality information.
I’ve already talked about content so now I want to talk about content structure.
So this is the heart of your post. This is why people came to your blog. So, do not disappoint them.
But it does not mean that you just have to write a post with many paragraphs. It also needs to be well-structured and eye-appealing.
What I mean by that is that you should split it into sections with headings. That way, it will look professional and will be easy to read.
Let’s say you are reviewing a mobile app. You can split it into different sections like Introduction, Features, Pros & Cons, Pricing, Comparison.
Each section should have 3 to 4 paragraphs, but it also depends on the subject. But always include more than one paragraph.
For example, Apartment Recording, which is a blog about recording music at home has a great blog post structure and you can use it as a starting template.
But also you can use what I call a Slim Paragraph Method. I use it in this blog post.
It means that you use a maximum of 3 sentences in a paragraph.
As you can see, I write one, two, or three sentences in a paragraph. This way, it is easier to read, and also it helps you to read faster.
I like it on tutorial-type posts like this, but I do not use this method on reviews or list posts. However, you can use it.
And also, this is the section where you use images or videos the most. But, do not overdo it. Balance is important.
Wrap Up Your Post
And the last section is the conclusion, where you wrap up everything and share your final thoughts.
A conclusion should be small. It could be only one or two paragraphs with 4 to 5 sentences. Do not make it long.
Just share your final thoughts, suggestions, and recommendations. Your blog posts must always have some kind of conclusion.
It makes posts complete and well-designed. You will have an introduction, main content with subsections, and the last will be a wrap-up, conclusion.
Also, it is a great place to insert some affiliate links, email subscription forms, related topics, or links to your products if you have one.
Conclusion
So, that is how you should construct all your blog posts. This is the method I follow and use when writing posts. This way, your article will look professional, well-structured, and will be very easy to read. Write some demo posts and try this method and see the result yourself.
