If you build WordPress websites for clients, you definitely need to white label them. And Branda will help you. A website will look more professional and custom.
The team behind this plugin is one of my favorite ones – WPMU DEV. They have amazing plugins such as Forminator, Hummingbird, Defender, etc. Even free versions are very powerful.
And Branda is another great plugin from them. In my opinion, it is the best white label plugin out there. Very powerful and easy to use.
In this review, I will go through every feature and setting and show you how it works, what it can do, and how can it be beneficial to you.

This is great when you make websites for clients. Many people don’t like the default WordPress dashboard and if they see a custom one, they will be very satisfied.

Branda Overview
After you install and activate Branda from the WordPress plugins repository, there will be a new section on your dashboard. You will change everything from there.
Using Branda is very easy. It is divided into sections. Every feature has its own section and it is very easy to navigate.
Sections are:
- Dashboard – The place where you will see everything you have changed.
- Admin Area – From here you can change everything related to admin.
- Emails – Choose email templates, email defaults, configure SMTP.
- Front-End – Settings for the login screen, error page, header content, cookie notice, etc.

- Widgets – Remove default widgets from the dashboard, customize the dashboard welcome message, rebrand the default meta widget, etc.
- Settings – Branda plugin settings.
As you can see, it is well organized and easy to understand. Now, I will go through each of these sections and show you what they do.
Dashboard
The dashboard is the place where you can see all the changes you make and widgets you use. You have everything in one place.
Displays what modules you are using, which one is activated, and you can easily navigate through sections. Also, shows you which modules are frequently used.
Also, you can manage all modules. In the upper right corner, there is a button Manage All Modules. It allows you to activate or deactivate modules.
Maybe you don’t want to use all of them. So, it is a great way to customize the plugin to your needs.
Admin Area
In this section, you can change admin settings. You can activate each of them separately.
With Admin Bar you can upload your logo instead of the WordPress logo, customize the toolbar, show or hide menu items, etc.
You can set a default footer text for every admin page.
Admin Menu is a powerful tool. You can hide/show different tabs for different users. For example, you can hide Media, Pages, and other sections for Editors, Authors, etc.
Also, from here you can change color schemes for different users. great place to customize admin and user pages.
Emails
The Emails section is very powerful and useful for professional websites. You can change different email-related settings.
From Headers allows you to set a default sender email, name, and also reply to the email.
In the Email Template section, you can choose pre-made templates for your emails. This is a great feature. You can create beautiful emails.
You can preview it with the Preview button and also, it generates HTML code for that template and you can customize it to your liking. So, you can create custom emails.

Also, it allows you to see email logs, but that is a pro feature.

The Front-End section is a very powerful tool. Here is where real design customization happens. It has many great options.
The first option is to change the default login screen. Instead of a WordPress login, you can have a custom one.
You can choose a template and change the background image, logo, form, add a message, etc. Also, you can change logo size, add a slideshow, and style different sections.
From here you can change the user registration screen, change the error page, insert content in your websites’ header & footer.
Also, add a little cookie message to your website, and add an author box in the posts.
Utilities
Branda allows you to tweak different settings in the Utilities section. You can change things like favicon, insert scripts, set website mode, etc.
You can upload your custom favicon, and also set an image upload limit for different user roles.
Also, you can change text, links, and WordPress versions in your websites’ source code from the Site Generator tab.
You can add different rules for default texts. For example, perhaps you want a different text for Posts. You can do it and you are able to add as many rules as you want.
Also, from this section you can set the website to maintenance mode, disable comments on your website, and add scripts like Google Analytics.
Widgets
Branda also allows you to customize the dashboard of your website. That is a great customization option for clients.
You can add a custom welcome message on your dashboard. Parse welcome text shortcodes if you want.
Another thing you can add to the dashboard is links. You can add any link you like. For example, links to your pages, posts, or external links.
Settings
And the last section is the Settings. This is for the Branda plugin itself. You can control and configure different options for the plugin.
For example, you can decide what happens to data when you uninstall Branda, set permissions for different user roles.
Also, it has an export/import option. With this option, you can export plugin configuration and upload it on a different website.
This way, you can configure the plugin how you want and use it on other websites.
Branda Free VS Pro Version
All these features come with the free version of the plugin. If you like it and want more features, you can upgrade anytime.
The pro version has additional features such as email logging, reports, 24/7 support, the coming soon page, etc.
WPMU DEV has great pricing plans and they are very affordable. You can get a pro version just for $5 per month. Here are the pricing plans.
